Qingqing Miao
Qingqing Miao concentrates her practice on general business transactions and immigration.
Prior to joining the Shatz Law Group, Ms. Miao worked at a well-respected immigration law firm in Seattle assisting clients to obtain nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. In particular, Ms. Miao has experience in L-1, H-1B, E-2, EB-1, EB-2 (National Interest Waiver and PERM), EB-5 and family-based petitions. While at law school, Ms. Miao worked as a law clerk of the Bonneville Power Administration (US Department of Energy), Office of General Counsel where she assisted federal attorneys in research, drafting and consultation in the areas of litigation, internal policy development, environmental law compliance, labor and employment law and real estate transactions.
Ms. Miao is active in the legal community. In August 2011, She was appointed by the Washington State Bar Association Board of Governors to serve on the Continuing Legal Education Committee. Ms. Miao is also involved with the King County Bar Association Pro Bono Services.
Ms. Miao has published in both English and Chinese professional and academic journals. Ms. Miaofs most recent article on EB-5 immigration has appeared in the 2011 Summer Issue of ABA International Law News.
